Had the same problem with upgrading one user from Notes 6.5.6 to 8.0.2, "no sitemap found" when opening calendar. Tried all suggestions previously listed in this thread but none worked. Even tried deleting the calendar profile and that did not fix the problem.
Opened the persons calendar via the admin client and another user and the calendar displayed properly in each case. Figured that this then pointed to something wrong with this users installation.
So this is what I did:
- replicated his contacts with the server
- closed client
- saved a copy of the following local files
bookmark.nsf
cache.NDK
desktop6.ndk
names.nsf
notes.ini
- deleted the above files, except for notes.ini
- delete most all line in notes.ini leaving only
[ Notes ]
KitType=1
Directory=C:\.....
- started up client and re-setup like initial install
- resynchronized contacts
I guess I could have accomplished the same thing by uninstalling the client and doing a clean install. Do not know exactly what caused this problem but would like to know.
Maybe making a new copy of bookmark.nsf, names.nsf or desktop6.nsf and replacing originals with the copies might have solved the issue also???
